May Yan-Mountain

Biography

May Yan-Mountain is a Periodicals and Microforms Assistant at Humanities and Social Science division at the University of British Columbia, where she also obtained her undergrad degree in Asian Studies. May involves in many aspects that pertain to Chinese Canadian history. One of her completed projects includes a website of her family genealogy inspired by Ed Wickberg the founder of Chinese Canadian Historical Society. May was also involved in Vancouver Public Library's Chinese Genealogy project funded partially by the Library and Archives Canada to provide resources and tools in the research of Chinese heritage in British Columbia.
