Biography

Hi! I’m a Ph.D. student in the Instructional Design and Technology program at Old Dominion University, and I work as a graduate research assistant at the Virginia Modeling, Analysis, and Simulation Center. My research passions include arts-based methodologies, temporal orientation, imposter syndrome, neurodiversity, and how AI can transform education.

As a strong advocate for inclusion, I’m dedicated to making sure everyone has equal access to educational materials, social events, and cultural experiences. My journey in this work began when I co-founded the Arts Inclusion Company, an inclusive theatre where everyone is welcome. I also helped launch Dramatically Able, a theatre experience tailored for actors who are blind or have low vision, and developed inclusive blacklight puppet theatre workshops and performances. Ensuring everyone can participate fully is at the heart of everything I do!
