Biography

As the Director of Academic Technology Experience, I provide leadership and management of University-wide initiatives related to student and faculty experiences with respect to the use of e-learning tools, research resources, and classroom technologies. I use a quantitative, program evaluation-based approach to manage and analyze data related to the academic technology services offered by the Division of Information Technology (DIT). I am responsible for creating and maintaining a robust data environment in order to continuously evaluate and improve data sources, structures, and tools. Using these data, I prepare and lead executive and board-level briefings with the goal of providing evidence-based insights, guidance, and recommendations to the University of Maryland community regarding the use and efficacy of academic technologies
