A native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Megan Fitzgibbons completed her MLIS degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is currently a liaison librarian at McGill University where she works with the Political Science department and Centre for Continuing Education language programs to meet students' and faculty members' learning and research needs through many facets of library services. Her interests include library collection development, learner-centred approaches to librarianship, embedded librarianship, Web 2.0 tools for information management, information literacy, and library outreach to diverse populations.
