Megan Palmer

Biography

Megan Palmer is Director of Administrative and Organizational Development for the IUPUI Office for Professional Development. In this capacity she works extensively with new faculty orientation, learning environments, the faculty electronic portfolio, deans and chairs development, faculty awards, and other institutional culture issues that impact the experience of faculty. Megan also holds an adjunct faculty appointment in the Higher Education and Student Affairs Program. The courses she has taught recently include Strategies for Educational Inquiry, Higher Education Administration, Issues and Problems in Student Affairs Administration, and Special Mission Colleges and Universities. Prior to working at IUPUI, Dr. Palmer served in a variety of administrative positions at several institutions of higher education including the University of Kansas, Stephens College and Syracuse University. Megan holds a bachelors of arts from University of St. Thomas (MN), masters in student affairs in higher education from Colorado State University, and doctor of philosophy from Indiana University.
