Melaine C. Kenyon serves as director for technology support systems at SUNY Buffalo State, the largest comprehensive college in the State University of New York system. As director, she is responsible for the development, establishment and maintenance of a comprehensive, service-oriented technology support infrastructure. The Technology Support Services unit currently includes 25 staff in classroom design and support, client systems engineering and services, the RITE support desk and creative media services (video production, computer graphics and photography). She promotes innovation and process improvement to support administrative and instructional needs. With new ticketing systems and services she is tasked to operationalize technology related institutional strategic initiatives through active participation and collaboration in the IT governance process. Melaine holds a bachelor of arts degree in history and a master of library science degree from the University at Buffalo.
