Biography
Instructional Design & Technology at Southwestern University in our Center for Teaching, Learning & Scholarship. At Southwestern, I collaborate with faculty, staff and students to explore and try out "techy things" to bring new experiences to students and broaden the scope of the learning environment. As an AI enthusiast and educator I encourage and explore with others using AI as a tool for course activities, reimagine assignments and learning methodologies, student projects and research, and to reduce mundane and repetative tasks. I also manage our SU Makerspaces and student employees who support our community in using the studios and assist with other related projects. I like to envision and think outside the box, mix seemingly disparate interests and expertises, and explore and play with new "technologies".
