Biography

Melissa Curry is Vice President for Human Resources at the University of Florida, where she leads the university’s people strategy in alignment with institutional goals. With 26 years at UF, she drives key initiatives in talent acquisition, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development. Known for her strategic vision, Curry has led major system transformations and launched UF’s Strategic Talent Group to enhance executive recruitment. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida and is a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional.
