
Melissa Eblen-Zayas
Biography
Melissa Eblen-Zayas has been a faculty member in the physics and astronomy department at Carleton College since 2005. She teaches courses throught the curriculum with a particular interest in laboratory courses at the introuctory through advanced level. She has particular interests in exploring how the thoughtful use of technology can enhance teaching and learning in the context of residential liberal arts colleges. In 2016, she began a three-year term as the Director of the Perlman Center for Teaching and Learning at Carleton College. Melissa earned her BA from Smith College and her PhD from the University of Minnesota.
