Biography
Leah Lang serves as the Senior Director for Partnerships and Corporate Engagement, responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of EDUCAUSE's corporate engagement and partner work. She leads EDUCAUSE's initiatives for corporate members, sponsors, and partner relations, as well as the organization's broader partner strategies and initiatives.
Prior to leading the partnerships and corporate portfolio, Leah served as Director of Decision Support for EDUCAUSE. In this position, she led the strategy and operations for EDUCAUSE's suite of benchmarking services, which are used by the higher education community to inform decision-making about IT and technology solutions. Leah continuously improved existing offerings while expanding the Decision Support portfolio to provide greater value to EDUCAUSE members.
By working closely with the higher education community and staying current on trends in higher education, higher education IT, and technology in general, Leah ensures that IT leaders have the insight they need to implement and maintain effective technology solutions.
Before joining EDUCAUSE, Leah worked to enhance Carnegie Mellon University's IT project management processes and develop metrics for service management. She also served as a mathematical statistician at the U.S. Census Bureau, where her work involved research and development for the American Community Survey, as well as weighting and variance estimation for the Current Population Survey. Leah holds a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Penn State University, a Master's degree in Survey Methodology from the University of Maryland, and a Product Management Certification from UC Berkeley Executive Education.
