Biography
I earned a B.S. from Canisius College (Buffalo, NY), an M.S. from Arcadia University (Philadelphia, PA) and a PhD in Educational Leadership Touro University International (Cypress, CA). I have been a member of the Physical Therapy faculty at Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY for 23 years. During this time I have developed an interest and expertise in the use of technology to enhance teaching and student learning. Some more recent examples include podcasts, vodcasts, custom software and internet based apps for teaching-learning, Web 2.0 technology and most recently wearable technology such as Google Glass. Outside of my interest in instructional technology, I involved in the assessment of teaching and learning and work with faculty to develop their understanding and use of assessment in their teaching. Finally, I am interested in how liberal education supports student transition into professional degree programs and have been involved in the development of a new campus wide core curriculum.
