Biography

Mike Erickson currently serves as Associate Vice President of Community Engagement at Internet2, a position he has held since January, 2020.  In this capacity he engages with higher education, research institutes, and federal organization CIOs and other executive level leadership to help those organizations achieve their mission through community collaboration and the value of Internet2 services and solutions. 

Mike was previously Chief Information Officer for the Colorado School of Mines for more than five years, and held the same position at Emporia State University for the six years prior. 

Throughout his career, he has  been an active part of the EDUCAUSE community, serving in a number of volunteer roles.  Most recently he served as Chair of the Program Committee for the 2019 Annual Conference.
