Biography
Mike Erickson currently serves as Interim Vice President of Community Engagement at Internet2. In this capacity he has responsibility for Internet2’s community-facing relationships, partnerships, membership, and community-facing programs across the research and education community. The Community Engagement team works with higher education institutions, non-profit organizations, federal partners, and regional and state research and education networks to help those organizations achieve their mission through the power of community collaboration and the value of Internet2 services and solutions.
Mike was previously Chief Information Officer for the Colorado School of Mines for more than five years, and held the same position at Emporia State University for the six years prior.
Throughout his career, he has been an active part of the EDUCAUSE community, serving in a number of volunteer roles, including as chair of the Program Committee for the 2019 Annual Conference.
