Michael Flanigan

Biography

Michael Flanigan is a seasoned leader with strategic responsibility for the Enrollment Research & Evaluation and Enrolled Student Communications units within the Division of Strategic Enrollment Management and Student Success. He frequently spearheads cross-university strategic initiatives and most recently led the development of the university’s Strategic Enrollment Management Plan. With a robust background in higher education, Michael has held strategic leadership roles focused on enrollment management and business and technology transformations. His accomplishments include overseeing the implementation of the Banner ERP system in the enrollment management division, leading admissions and recruiting CRM projects, and driving organizational realignments and technology integrations to enhance operational effectiveness. Michael’s expertise also extends to private industry, where he served as an IT Director for a retail organization, a Web Project Manager for a Fortune 500 financial services company, and an E-Solutions Director for a direct marketing firm. He holds a Doctor of Education degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University.
