Biography
Mike Hawkins has been in information technology for twenty-two years. For the last twelve years he has worked for the ITS-Communication Technologies-Networking group at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he holds the position of Associate Director of Networking. His main areas of work include evaluation and development of data networking technologies, management of developmental vendor relations with UNC's networking partners and supervision of a staff of network engineers who are the last tier of support for the UNC network (7x24x365).
