Biography

I serve as an Instructional Designer in the Information Technology department focusing on digital education consultation, project management, and researching emerging technologies. My passion for teaching and learning is exemplified through teaching as an Assistant Professor in the College of Graduate Studies. My core focus is on Multimedia and Emerging Technologies within the Master of Health Professions Teaching with Technology program of study. I serve on both academic and technology-related committees providing guidance and direction in the use of educational technologies. My current research and faculty development activity focuses on the virtual presence in telemedicine and increasing communication through virtual reality, augmented reality, and web-based video technologies. I enjoy serving the Nebraska Digital Learning Association as a member of the Board of Directors.
