Biography
Michael Moghtader is an assistant professor of writing and rhetoric at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA, USA., where he teaches a range of 100- to 400-level writing-intensive courses in writing pedagogy, argumentative theory, expository writing, and cultural rhetorics. His research interests include English studies disciplinarity, pedagogy, English education, and the cultural practices of educational institutions. In 2003 he earned his PhD in English with a specialization in rhetoric and composition at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. His research has appeared in two books and in the journal College Composition and Communication.
