Biography

Michael Robbert is a System and Network Administrator at the Colorado School of Mines. He has studied Computer Science at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and Hope College. He started his career working his way up the chain from a help desk technician to Level II support analyst supporting a Point of Sale system running SCO Unix. In 2001 he moved to the Denver, CO area where he started at Mines as a support person for academic department servers and workstations. In 2004 he moved in to the Networking and Security group. 

He now works for Research Support services where he manages the schools central HPC clusters and helps design and operate computing infrastructure needed for advanced research.
