Biography

I am privileged to serve as Chief Technology Advisor of higher education at World Wide Technology (WWT). In this role, I have the pleasure of engaging with clients on strategy, innovation, and transformation to develop and deliver solutions that are tailor-made for higher education institutions. I am passionate in bringing creative and innovative information technology solutions that leverage established and emerging technologies to meet the needs of diverse organizations, and I have helped develop and implement technology solutions across a variety of industries, including Higher Education, Banking, Insurance, Distribution, and Health Care. Prior to joining WWT in January 2022, I most recently served as the Associate Vice President and Deputy CIO at the University of Central Florida (UCF), where I helped establish a vision for technology services to accelerate the transformation of UCF IT. Before my time at UCF, I also served as Assistant Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations at the University of South Florida (USF). During my tenure within Higher Education, I have served on the Board of Directors for the Higher Education User Group (HEUG), the worldwide community enabling the sharing of knowledge and practices to maximize institution investment in Higher Education Information Systems. I also served as a Board Member for Florida LambdaRail (FLR), Florida's independent statewide research and education fiber optic network, owned and operated on behalf of twelve Florida research and education institutions that provide Florida’s higher education institutions and partners a cost effective, ultra-high speed, inter-connected, broadband service delivery network. I received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University. I reside in the Orlando, Florida area with my wife and three daughters, and we are enjoying all that Central Florida has to offer!
