I am a leading expert in the field of faculty development, academic technology, and online learning in higher education. I have extensive experience as a classroom educator, having taught for over a decade at research-intensive universities, and is a well-respected scholar-practitioner in the field of academic technology and online education. I currently serve as the founding Executive Director and Digital Learning Architect of the Office of Innovative Teaching and Technology (ITT) at Azusa Pacific University. Prior to APU, I was the founding Associate Director of the Center for Research on Teaching Excellence (CRTE) at the University of California, Merced, where I spearheaded many technology projects, faculty training workshops, and large-scale pedagogical projects. I regularly publish in the field of the scholarship of teaching and learning and actively give workshops and presentations at local, state, and national conferences on various topics related to teaching, learning, and technology.
