Biography

I am an IT Manager for the Office of Information Technology at Portland State University (PSU), supporting the Digital Accessibility and Content Team. In this capacity, I oversee systems administration for key ticketing and content management technologies and serve as PSU's primary subject matter expert on digital accessibility. My team and I are responsible for the development and maintenance of processes that move PSU towards more accessible and universally designed technology and support resources.

I am certified as an Accessible Document Specialist (ADS) and Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) through the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP). I am also certified in project management through the PSU Center for Executive and Professional Education (CEPE). My primary areas of expertise are project and change management, enterprise service management, and accessible digital procurement, design, validation, remediation, and incident response. I have presented nationally at the Postsecondary Disability Training Institute (PTI), the Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) Conference, AHEAD’s Accessible Media, Web and Technology Conference: Accessing Higher Ground (AHG), and EDUCAUSE. I am also currently serving as a member and vice-chair of the EDUCAUSE Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Committee.
