Michelle Johnson

Biography

Michelle Johnson is the Director of the Service and Platform Management department for the University of Notre Dame's Office of Information Technologies University Enabling Technology Services division. She leads a team of service and platform support, management, and integration engineers tasked with the installation, integration, operation, monitoring, and support of the OIT's service and deployment platforms. Previously, she was Lead Project Manager within the University's PMO, leading large-scale programs & projects, along with coaching project managers. Prior to joining Notre Dame in 2006, Michelle worked as a Manager and Senior Quality Assurance Analyst in financial and human resource application companies. She also worked as a project manager at an ERP consulting company, coming up through the ranks as Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Project Leader. Michelle graduated with Distinction from Purdue University with a BS in Industrial Management and a minor in Science.  She obtained her MBA from Indiana University South Bend. A Notre Dame Presidential Award winner and a graduate of the EDUCAUSE Institute's Management Program, she also holds PMP, Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt, ITILv3 Foundations and Prosci Change Management certifications.
