Biography

Miho Funamori is an associate professor at the National Institute of Informatics in Japan. Having worked for ten years at the headquarter of the University of Tokyo giving advice to the administration, she specializes in international higher education policy and university management especially of research universities. Now at NII, she works with the Research Center for Open Science and Data Platform to develop a research data platform which is going to be provided to all Japanese universities. She is interested in how the digitization is going to transform the higher education sphere such as in scholarly communication, research activities, and teaching and learning.
