Dr. Mikhail Gershovich currently serves as the academic director for undergraduate studies at Emerson College's Los Angeles program. Prior to joining Emerson, Mikhail directed the Bernard L. Schwartz Communication Institute and the Writing Across the Curriculum Program at Baruch College, CUNY for over a decade. During his tenure at Baruch, he launched Blogs@Baruch, now one of the largest and most active academic blogging communities in the nation, and the Video Oral Communication Assessment Tool (VOCAT), an open-source teaching and assessment tool, with whose development he is still actively involved. He also served as a project advisor for CSU Channel Islands' ambitious CI Keys personal cyber-infrastructure project.
