Biography

I am Mohamed H.  ElMahdy, an IT Operations and Digital Transformation Manager at a leading university in Saudi Arabia. With over a decade of experience in higher education technology, my expertise spans IT infrastructure management, cloud migration, cybersecurity strategy, ERP systems (notably Oracle Fusion), and digital transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing student and administrative services.

My professional interests include IT governance, data-driven decision-making, and AI integration in education. I actively mentor IT trainees and am pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), with the goal of contributing to academia as an MBA/DBA instructor by 2027.

I am passionate about fostering innovation and collaboration in the higher education technology community and continuously seek opportunities to learn from and contribute to peer networks such as EDUCAUSE.
