Biography

Mona Zarei is a Solution Architect at University of California, San Diego with more than 11 years of experience in Identity and Access Management. She leads the UCSD's Enterprise Identity Management initiative to modernize and improve the current identity, entitlement and access management infrastructure and processes. 

In her previous role as a Senior Programmer/Systems Analyst at University of Miami, Middleware, and Identity services, she was responsible for evaluating, implementing, testing, and supporting enterprise level IAM technologies such as SailPoint, OIM, Profisee MDM, and Grouper. 

She is enthusiastic about IAM and its crucial role in Cybersecurity as well as Digital and Cloud Transformation, data mastering and quality assurance. 

Mona earned her Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Florida International University and finds higher education IT an exciting world of ever advancing technologies and effective collaborations in which she can constantly learn new skills and utilize them for the success of the university and advancement of the society.
