Monica Hill

Biography

As Senior Manager, Client Experience, Monica Hill helps college faculty and staff understand, identify, and use a variety of resources to optimize the value of their current Blackboard products and services. She has a diverse educational and professional background. At Laureate Education, Inc., Monica evaluated domestic and international academic program effectiveness to improve instructional design, delivery, student learning outcomes, and overall student experience. She also worked as an Instructional Designer at Johns Hopkins University where she collaborated with faculty to design high-quality online and hybrid graduate courses. As the Administrator for Online Learning at Community College of Baltimore County, Monica fostered innovation and communities of best practice with faculty across the institution and provided training in the use of Blackboard for online, blended, and face-to-face instruction. She was also an Associate Professor at Montgomery College where she taught English as a Second Language, English Composition, Developmental Writing and Women's Studies, and she served as the Coordinator of Composition and an instructor of English as a Second Language at Medgar Evers College (CUNY).
