Biography

Nadya Lucas has been employed with California State University, Sacramento (Sacramento State) for nearly 17 years first serving in various roles in Student Affairs for 11 years, and then she joined Information Resources and Technology division in 2018 as a project manager within the Project Management Office (PMO). In January 2022, Nadya became an interim Director of Project Management, served in that role for over a year, and then obtained a permanent position as a PMO director. Her expertise are in project management, digital transformation, and system implementation. Nadya received an M.D. in Pediatrics from the Nizhny Novgorod State Medical School in Russia, and a master's degree in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies: Student Affairs from Sacramento State. Nadya’s expertise in project management and her various PM certifications are helping to raise the standard for how campus technology projects are concepted, resourced, implemented, and measured. Now in her permanent capacity as director, she looks forward to continuing to advance digital transformation and system implementation projects in support of campus strategic goals and imperatives, and to grow relationships with every campus division.
