Biography
Dr. Nakita Savant is a transformative educator and scholar-practitioner with over 20 years of experience in higher education leadership, instructional design, and adult learning. Currently serving as an Adjunct Graduate Instructor at Yorkville University and a Subject Matter Expert for Western Governors University, her career is defined by a commitment to the "Scholarship of Application"—bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world professional practice. As the Principal Investigator for a 2026 research grant focused on faculty AI adoption and ethical governance, Dr. Savant is at the forefront of exploring how emerging technologies can be harnessed to enhance well-being and interpersonal dynamics within the digital classroom. Her multidisciplinary background, anchored by an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, is further distinguished by her expertise as a Master Practitioner of Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology™ (HNLP), allowing her to integrate advanced communication frameworks and cognitive strategies to foster inclusive, high-rapport learning environments.
