Natasha Haugnes


Natasha Haugnes has worked with artists and designers in higher education for over 25 years, mostly at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and more recently at California College of the Arts.

She consults with art and design colleges on rubrics and grading, and has presented on this topic in numerous settings.

She is currently coordinates curriculum and teaches English to non-native speakers in the Academy of Art University's English for Art Purposes program. She has authored two ESL textbooks. 

Natasha’s most recent book, Meaningful Grading: A Guide for Faculty in the Arts, was published by WVU Press in 2019.
