Nate McKee serves as the Director of Learning Technologies at the University of Washington Seattle Campus. His unit provides support for many educational technologies that enable and facilitate teaching and learning for faculty, staff, and students of the UW community including the learning management system, lecture capture tools, audience response technologies, and multimedia creation and editing studios. His team specializes in supporting instructional technologies, instructional design, technology focused learning spaces, and the largest student computing facility on campus. Nate's primary goal is to help people achieve their teaching and learning objectives by leveraging technology in innovative and meaningful ways. Prior to his work at the University of Washington, Nate created, managed, and incrementally expanded the University of Houston Libraries Learning Commons between 2008-2014. He was integral in securing donor support for student training classrooms and a fully functioning professional recording studio to support innovative multimedia projects.
