Biography

Nathan Sorensen, MBA RDN, is the Director of Government Contracts at the Midwestern Higher Education Compact (MHEC). In this role, he is responsible for managing, administering, and promoting contracts with state, local, and education government agencies. Nathan leads cross-functional teams and supports bid/proposal development, negotiation, awarding, and administration throughout the contract life cycle. He currently manages MHEC's schedule of technology contracts, including purchases exceeding $4 billion in technology investments primarily made by entities in K-12 and higher education institutions, as well as other government agencies and non-profit organizations. Nathan's contracts are available to member states, or affiliate members, of the Midwest Higher Education Compact (MHEC), the New England Board of Higher Education (NEBHE), the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB), and the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE).
