Nazmul Islam is the IT Director for the Department of Medicine (DOM) at The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Islam is responsible for the overall operation and strategic planning of DOM IT. Islam has over 20 years of experience and has been the driving force for the transformational change of DOM IT. Islam serves on various executive level committees and is well versed in higher-ed healthcare IT. Islam has built a team and an infrastructure that gained both local and nationwide prominence.
