Rolling Out Learning Analytics at a National Level
Implementing a learning analytics system across all higher education institutions in Wales provides a model for the opportunities for such services at a national scale.
Niall Sclater has been working at universities in online and distance education and educational technology since 1992. For the last 5 years he has been a consultant at Sclater Digital, working primarily in the area of learning analytics for a range of universities and for Jisc.
Niall has published widely and is the author of Learning Analytics Explained, published by Routledge in 2017. He presents regularly throughout the World and has worked on many collaborative national and international projects – all in areas related to the use of technology to enhance learning and teaching.
