Biography

Nicole is the Director of Technology and Strategy at InCommon. Before moving to Internet2, she worked as a technical director in Identity Services at Penn State, and before that as an Identity Systems Architect and Systems Programmer at The University of Iowa. She has worked with colleagues in the Big Ten Academic Alliance and the InCommon federation to help shape the InCommon identity assurance profiles, and was a reviewer for version 1.1 of the InCommon identity assurance framework and profiles. She has also helped to draft several SAML interoperability standards through the Kantara Initiative. She was a co-chair of the BTAA CIOs Identity Management Working Group and a member of the InCommon Technical Advisory Committee.
