Biography
Niels Walet is the Learning Enhancement Officer at the School of Physics and Astronomy, the University of Manchester, UK, where he is also professor of Theoretical Physics. He has a been instrumental in a number of projects using new technology in education, with an emphasis on laboratories, first year basic physics education and on-line assessment of mathematics.
Niels was educated at the University of Utrecht, where he did his undergraduate work and obtained his PhD in Theoretical Nuclear Physics.
