Biography

Not your typical path to instructional design, but I come with lots of teaching tips and tricks in my bag. I consider myself an educational technology solutions architect as well as an instructional designer. I have a bachelor’s in music education, a master’s in instructional technology, and an educational specialist degree in administration. I have developed, facilitated, and analyzed training in technology for the online environment, pedagogy practices to engage students, authentic assessment to avoid proctoring pitfalls, and many others.  With my experience in both K12 and Higher Education, I bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion to creating the best possible experience for students.

In addition to my “day job,” I also teach online music appreciation for several HS districts in the United States. I am the coach for a Professional Esports Team who has won over $30,000. If that isn’t enough to fill my time, I  also enjoy my chocolate lab, Louis V, and spending time with him at the river.
