Patricia Vander Meer
Biography
Patricia Fravel Vander Meer is a Reference Librarian at Western Michigan University (WMU) in Kalamazoo, MI. She is the liaison librarian for criminal justice, social work, sociology, and communication. In addition to offering reference and research assistance, Pat is active in the Libraries' instruction program and has authored several discipline-specific interactive online tutorials. Her research interests and publications have explored areas such as multimedia and web-based library instruction, library usage studies, instructional strategies for engaging students, designing the library instructional facility, and library web site development. Pat has a M.A. in audiovisual media from Western Michigan University, and an M.S.L.S. and a B.A. in english from the University of Illinois.EDUCAUSE Presentations
