Patty Hambrick

Biography

Patricia Hambrick is the Director of Academic Technology and Academic Grants at Charleston Southern University where she teaches technology classes for individuals who are planning to be teachers or who are already employed in schools systems as teachers. She is responsible for coordinating campus-wide faculty technology integration training which includes effective practices for teaching and learning. She received a 2006-2007 start-up grant to implement the "Flexible Space" project which teaches faculty how to improve relationships with students as they improve teaching and learning in their classes using creative technology capabilities. Patricia completed her doctorate in Technology and Learning at United States International University in San Diego, California and completed master's degrees in Education and Special Education/Gifted at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Her specialties include the integration of mathematics education and children's literature.
