Biography

Patrick is a team-focused, analytical, systems thinker with demonstrated experience developing concepts and then successfully operating those concepts in a higher education environment. He has more than 24 years of experience in higher education IT, holding progressive management and leadership roles with increasing responsibility. Patrick has success in building organizational capacity, working as part of a successful senior leadership team, developing and leading professionals, partnering with diverse stakeholders across campus, implementing new technology processes and programs, and broadly communicating strategy and operational details. He is known for his clear communication, integrity, calm demeanor, sense of humor, and emotional intelligence.

Patrick was the faculty director for the 2019 EDUCAUSE Management Program and taught in the Management Program in 2017 and 2018. He is also a NorthWest Academic Computing Consortium Leadership Program Fellow and an attendee of the EDUCAUSE Management Program in 2011.
