Biography

Mount Sinai's Dean and Vice President of Scholarly & Research Technologies is a member of the senior leadership team that collaborates with the community, external partners, leadership, and stakeholders to provide and execute an evolving vision and strategy for innovative educational and research technology solutions and services within the Icahn School of Medicine.

The role is responsible for the innovative vision, strategy, leadership, execution, and performance of a broad spectrum of technology and academic support domains, including libraries and information sciences, educational technology, student systems, mobile applications, digital collections, distance education, research technologies, learning environments, and academic and research technology and support within the school and all campuses of the Mount Sinai Health System. Leading a diverse and next-generation shared services team, the role is strategically connected to a culture of innovation and focused on extending the boundaries of knowledge and the discovery of information. This role aligns technology decisions with enterprise objectives and goals by utilizing an inclusive, cooperative, and consensus-building process to make decisions.
