Biography
Paul Rickards is a Digital Media Specialist at the University of Delaware. He first pioneered the use of streaming video for the UD campus in 1997 with the first streaming video based course in Hotel, Restuarant and Institutional Management. Now the collection of complete streaming online courses has grown to over 100 encompassing content from almost every curriculum. He and his colleague have been instrumental in streamlining the process of capturing and synchronizing classes to ease the burden on talent so they may focus on content. Current projects include remote live webcasting of events and exploration of new emerging digital media. Paul earned his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Delaware with a minor in Photography.
