Biography

Hello! I am a design and technology specialist working on research and advocacy initiatives to empower children and youth through education and technology. I study the design of technology-enhanced learning environments (e.g., makerspaces, augmented reality, and virtual worlds) and technological innovation in developing countries. I work closely with teachers to integrate media, technology, and XR in their classrooms to enhance learning experiences.

My scholarly work is characterized by a deep commitment to community-engaged research projects alongside under-represented groups and minority voices. I also focus on technologies and pedagogies that support youth changemakers to take action for pro-social and environmental change. I am inspired every day by teachers and learners who are catalysts for making, renewing, and improving our world.
