Biography

Peg Sherven is the EDUCAUSE Ambassador for the University of Minnesota. She works in the University of Minnesota - Health Sciences Technology group supporting the UMN’s healthcare-related colleges and schools. As the Health Sciences’ Academic Technology Support Coordinator and SaaS Admin, she collaborates with OIT and others across the University to bring HIPAA-compliant solutions to the Health Sciences.

Her focal areas include IT systems integration, teaching and learning and governance. Peg has a PhD in Higher Education from the University of Minnesota, and her MS and BS degrees in Business Administration from North Dakota State University.

Key projects include the launch and oversight of U-wide technology solutions, such as AssureSign, BioRender, Canvas, Dedoose, HelioCampus, Kaltura, Lucid, Smartsheet and Zoom. Peg also serves on numerous governance committees for academic technology, Google, Health Sciences, Modern Campus and Zoom.
