Biography

Pekka Kähkipuro was Chief Information Officer at Tampere University in 2021-2024. Prior to joining his current institution, Pekka was CIO at Brunel University London, Director of IT at Aalto University in Finland and, before that, he held various senior roles in the private sector including Nokia. Pekka obtained his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Helsinki in 2000.
