Biography

Perla Garcia is studying Business Marketing at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). She will graduate and receive her BBA in the Spring of 2022. With her degree she hopes to continue her education by attending law school and ultimately obtaining a Juris Doctor degree in corporate law. Garcia is currently a Technology Specialist for University Technology Solutions (UTS) at UTSA. As a Technology Specialist, she has worked under the guidance of Vanessa Kenon, Ed.D., where she helped create an Internship and Ambassador program for UTS. As a Technology Specialist Garcia also concentrates on community outreach, creating and editing presentations, and helping manage over 25 students in the UTS Ambassador program. Her current life-long goal is to one day run for office and have an influence on others.
