Biography
Assistant professor of Physics at San Jose State University and faculty-in-residence for podcasting. Dr. Beyersdorf received his PhD from Stanford University in 2001 where he was involved in research and development of measurement devices with extreme sensitivity for application to gravitational wave detection. He continued this work at the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan through 2004. As an assistant professor at San Jose State University he is using a variety of new media in his teaching including clickers, online forums and podcasting. Through his appointment as faculty in residence for podcasting he instructs faculty on media production and podcast creation.EDUCAUSE Presentations
