Biography
Peter Blando is the operations manager for Classroom Technology Services at the University of California at Davis, where he plays a significant role in managing resources to support instruction. His greatest challenge is leveraging a $1.3 million budget to operate 14 computer classrooms and labs used by over 23,000 students and 300 faculty members a year. He has supervised thousands of students either directly or indirectly over the past 10 years. His most recent projects that utilized student employees include the development of an online work schedule, and timesheet application and an online project tracking system. In the past year, he has provided financial and business process analysis to weather budget cuts and lobby for one-time funding. Peter completed his masters in business administration in 2002 at UC Davis.
