Peter Shea

Biography

Dr. Peter Shea is faculty at the University at Albany, State University of New York. His research focuses on theoretical and empirical study of online teaching and learning. He has joint appointments in the Department of Educational Theory and Practice and the College of Computing and Information. Prior to joining UAlbany, Peter was Director of the SUNY Learning Network, the online educational program of the State University of New York System. He has also served as the project manager for the SUNY Teaching, Learning, and Technology program, Director of SUNY's participation in the MERLOT project, and as Lead Multimedia Instructional Designer for the SUNY Learning Network.
