Biography

Philipp Schmidt is VP of Technology Innovation at Axim Collaborative, a non-profit organization that was created by Harvard and MIT to address barriers to student success in broad access higher education in the US. Philipp leads Axim’s work on generative AI, which includes a portfolio of innovative solutions and an annual conference on AI in Education. Previously Philipp was Director of Digital Learning at the MIT Media Lab, co-founder of Peer 2 Peer University, and a board member of the OpenCourseWare Consortium.
