Preetha Kannan
Biography
Preetha Kannan is an Instructional Technologist for Oakland Community College where she assists faculty and staff with their teaching, learning and technology needs. With over 7 years of experience in technology and education Preetha has focused her research on emerging technology in higher education. Current projects include implementing podcasting at the college and creation of an interactive knowledge repository for faculty. Prior to joining OCC, she has worked at Marsh & McLennan as a client consultant for their risk technologies group. At Marsh, Preetha worked mainly with Michigan public schools in the implementation, training and documentation of their risk management systems. Prior to that, Preetha was a web and instructional designer at Eastern Michigan University. Preetha has a bachelor's degree in Business from Stella Maris College (India) and a Masters in Technology from Eastern Michigan University.EDUCAUSE Presentations
